The goal of this initiative is to address health care professional knowledge and competence gaps related to the ATS’ official statement on race, ethnicity, and PFT (pulmonary function test) interpretation; the recent scientific evidence supporting new race-neutral recommendations; and practical guidance for implementation at the local, institutional, and system levels.
