This activity is intended for radiologists involved in the diagnosis and management of patients with IPF.

The radiologist plays a crucial role in diagnosing interstitial lung diseases (ILD). These conditions have overlapping clinical features and radiology is often the deciding element. Because of the relative rarity of ILD many radiologists are inexperienced in recognizing the features of IPF and other ILDs as well as relating them to diagnosis guidelines. Each of these cases is presented by an expert pulmonologist and an expert radiologist to illustrate the differential diagnosis of common ILDs. Participants identify characteristic features and diagnose the patient based on clinical, radiologic, and (if necessary) pathologic findings.

The France Foundation is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

The France Foundation designates this enduring activity for a maximum of 0.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses who are certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) may utilize activities that are certified by ACCME-accredited providers toward their requirement for certification renewal by the ANCC. A certificate of attendance will be provided by The France Foundation, an ACCME-accredited provider.
