Case Study: 57-year-old Caucasian female in good functional status with 2 to 4 week history of dyspnea on exertion, dry cough, desaturation, and low grade fever

CT (10/26/01) near the lung bases shows ill-defined linear opacities, ground-glass opacity, and consolidation. These findings are nonspecific but most consistent with NSIP and BOOP. The linear opacities may represent fibrosis or atelectasis.
