This interactive, case-based activity examines barriers to effectively managing and treating overweight and obesity in primary care. The focus is on provider-related challenges, including limited skills and confidence in discussing weight with patients, clinician perceptions and biases, and uncertainty in managing obesity treatment. Learners will engage with multimedia content and a trained AI companion to actively practice strategies and skills throughout the session.
