Organizing Pneumonia
Organizing Pneumonia

An HRCT through the lung bases shows irregular areas of consolidation containing air bronchograms. These predominate in the subpleural regions (blue arrow) and surrounding bronchi (red arrow). Although organizing pneumonia may be associated with a variety of findings, bilateral patchy areas of consolidation or irregular nodular opacities in the subpleural and peribronchial regions are the most frequent appearances. Air bronchograms are common.
